You’re Not Behind. You’re Human.

Some of you are exhausted from trying to “catch up” to a life God never asked you to race toward.
And the hard part is…most people around you don’t even know you’re carrying that pressure.
You smile. You post. You keep showing up.
But internally, there’s this quiet feeling of: “I should be further by now.”
Further emotionally. Further financially. Further spiritually. Further in healing. Further in purpose.
And little by little, comparison starts stealing your peace.
But one thing I’ve noticed in Scripture is that God is rarely in a hurry the way people are.
Moses spent years in the wilderness before leading anyone. Joseph carried promises long before he saw fulfillment. Even Jesus lived mostly unseen for thirty years before ministry ever became public.
We panic over timing. God focuses on formation.
And honestly? A lot of women are tired not because they’re failing…but because they’ve been trying to bloom in every season instead of letting roots grow first.
Some seasons don’t look impressive on the outside. Some seasons are just God rebuilding your thinking. Teaching you rest. Healing your nervous system. Teaching you how to stop living from fear, pressure, and survival.
That work matters too.
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”— Ecclesiastes 3:1
A season. Not a race.
You don’t have to force fruit before it’s time.
And I think some women need permission to stop treating themselves like projects that constantly need fixing.
You are allowed to grow slowly. You are allowed to heal gradually. You are allowed to become in layers.
God is not standing over your life disappointed because the process is taking time.
Some of the deepest growth He does in us is invisible at first. Roots always grow underground before anyone sees fruit.
So if this season feels slower than you expected, don’t shame yourself for it.
You may not be behind at all. You may just be in a season where God is growing something deeper than visibility.

What pressure have you been putting on yourself lately that God may not actually be asking you to carry?
🕊️
If this season has felt emotionally heavy or mentally loud, the Peace Practice Kit was created to help women slow down with God again through Scripture, reflection, and gentle rhythms of peace.
